Delete Template

  1. Select a template in Template Editor, then click Delete Template.

  2. A window appears that will show any deleted or active workspaces that are linked to the template.

  3. If there are no linked active workspaces, or linked deleted workspaces, a confirmation displays that allows to continue with deletion.Users only can view the list of workspaces and drill to those workspaces, or export them

  4. If there are linked active workspaces, a window will appear listing the workspaces linked to the template. If there are active linked workspaces, the user cannot proceed with deletion. 

  5. Users can navigate to each workspace or export the list. However, this window does not allow users them to manage those workspace linkagesworkspace-template links. This can be done by using our Reassign Template or our Append & Replace Template feature via .csv upload.

  6. Once linked workspaces do not exist for you have unlinked the workspaces from the template, then you can hit the Delete Template button. If you need to export these lists of linked workspaces beforehand, there is an Export button. delete it by clicking the ‘Delete Template’ button. 

  7. Note: If there are active linked workspaces, the user cannot proceed with deletion.

  8. If deleted workspaces remain in the system, this is here for informational purposes only for the users, it will not stop them from removing a template.

  9. When the export is run- it only contain contains the active workspaces.

Config

The options on this dialog control whether users can add personal folders at a specific folder level. To allow customization, toggle the Allow button to Yes. Click the Add Criteria button to add metadata to the filter.

  1. Select the metadata from the dropdown.

  2. Set the operator to filter on. Supported operators are: <,>,<=,>=, =, !=, contains, in.

  3. Type the metadata value desired. E.g. If filtering out Cabinets called NDMaster, set the following: Metadata=CabinetName, Operator= !=, Value= 'NDMASTER'. For the in operator, enter the comma-separated values (CSV).

  4. Based on filter criteria you can restrict or allow users to add personal folders from Manage dialog at Directory Tab -> specific matter -> external system

  5. Click Submit to save the configuration.
