Improvements have been made for job processing to prevent further failures and delays due to timeouts or failures that a retry could have prevented. Those improvements include:

• If a job fails, the retries will occur on an exponential basis up to the max delay time of 300 seconds. This would look like the following: First retry after 1 sec, next after 2 sec, next after 4 sec…, 300 sec max.

• The limits have increased for some retry types. For any infrastructure failures, the maximum retry count is 10. All other failure types remain at 3 retries.

• Job notifications have expanded to include in progress or partially failed jobs to track those items where a job might be running too long, or stuck.
