Export to Network Setup
The steps listed below must be completed in sequential order to set up the environment to configure the Export to Network job.
Download and install the Data Uploader from the Administration tab.
Open the Data Uploader installation directory in your local system and access the install command file located in the service folder. (C:\Program Files (x86)\Prosperoware\DataUploader\service)
Run the install cmd file as Administrator via Command Prompt. This will install the CAM Agent Windows service.
By default, the CAM Agent service will log on as Network System. You may change the service log in with the system administrator account or the local system account.
Now, run the Prosperoware Cloud Data Uploader as Administrator.
Enter the credentials of the environment you want to connect and authenticate the connection.
Run the CAM Agent service.
Tip: To verify if the CAM Agent is running successfully check if the CAM Agent log is updated in the Data Uploader>Log tab
1. Enable Permission Export to Network Path in the Account Management ->Roles section.
2. Next, configure the Export to Network setup from Analytics for Document/Workspace/Folder/Tab etc.
3. The status for the configured export job will initially be displayed as Pending in the Jobs tab.
Tip: You may check the Data Uploader Log to confirm if the export object task is picked by the CAM Agent service.
1. Once the object query is running, it will confirm the export path and process the id's for export. The job status will now be updated from Pending to Process in the Jobs tab.
2. On successful completion of the job, the objects are exported to the configured network path.
Export to Network is not supported for NetDocuments for the CAN region.
