25.11.6

Released on November 12, 2025

New Features

Licensing

  • Features licenses are now enforced per user instead of per user/machine.

  • When the application validates your licenses, entries listed on the Computers tab in CAM with your email address and a machine name are now consolidated into a single entry without a machine name, which is assigned a license for every feature you previously activated on any machine. Seats no longer is use after consolidation are immediately available to other users.

  • To maintain backwards compatibility, activating a feature via an older version of PowerDesktop will still reduce your organization’s available seats regardless of the user’s other activations. As a result, you must upgrade all machines using PowerDesktop to version 25.11.6 in order to take advantage of this change.

iManage Work

CSV Import

  • In addition to normal file rows, an import CSV can now include rows that specify paths to folders from which all files should be imported with the same metadata. When loaded in the import wizard, these folder rows can be optionally “expanded,” i.e., replaced with rows representing their file contents, and then imported as if they were in the original CSV.

  • Default classes for documents and email can now be specified on the import wizard’s “Select Default Values” page.

  • The import wizard now displays cancelable progress windows when loading data, validating fields, and resolving targets.

  • The CSV Generator can now create CSVs of top-level folders for use with the new folder row expansion feature.

Folder Import

  • Folder selection in the import wizard is now handled by a separate “Select Source Folder” window that lets you configure what to include/exclude prior to loading a folder’s contents.

  • The file tree on the import wizard’s “Select Source Folder” page now includes a toolbar with buttons for removing selected items and empty folders. To simplify folder/file removal, the tree now also supports multi-selection.

  • An option to set the default file create/edit dates for email to their received date, file system created/modified date, or import time has been added to the wizard’s “Set Document and Folder Properties” page.

Export

  • Export jobs can now be configured to create CSVs that include either relative or absolute paths to the exported files.

Work Explorer

  • The Search Workspace window now shows all search properties enabled for the selected library.

  • The “Sent To” search property, which searches all recipient fields, is now included in the Search Documents window’s Email section.

  • Boolean search properties in both the Search Workspaces and Search Documents windows are now displayed as radio buttons with Any, Yes, and No options.

Dashboard

  • A new Network Monitor window, which displays graphs of network activity for up to the last minute, is now available from the View menu.

  • When logging in to Work, you can now choose to open the login page in your default browser for both cloudimanage.com and on-premises servers.

Settings

  • The following settings have been added to Tools > Options > Work:

    • Interface > Show All Search Properties: Indicates whether all search properties are displayed in the Search Documents window regardless of the library’s settings.

    • Import > Excluded File Extensions: A list of file extensions to exclude when loading files from a source folder in an import job.

  • When adding excluded file extensions, you can now specify a list of extensions separated by commas and/or line breaks instead of entering them one at a time.

NetDocuments

Workspace Export

  • The following options have been added to the New Workspace Export window:

    • Naming > Name Source: Indicates whether a document’s version name, if specified, should be used in the exported file’s name.

    • Index CSV > Include Email Attributes: Indicates whether columns for email attributes should be included in the export’s CSV.

NetDocuments Explorer

  • The right-click menus for documents and containers now include an “Open in Browser” command, which opens the selected item in your default web browser.

New Features

Work Export

  • The content of CSV index files can now be configured via CSV templates, which define the names, order, and sorting of the fields to include in the tabular output. Custom CSV templates can be created, modified, and deleted via the new CSV Template Manager, which is accessible from the Work Explorer ribbon.

  • Work export jobs can now automatically generate a CSV index file after all items in the job have been processed. Options related to the CSV output of a Work export job can be found in the export editor’s new CSV tab.

  • CSV index files can now include columns for Default Security, Last User, and Last User Description.

  • The Export Results window and the corresponding toolbar button in the Work export job editor have been renamed Create CSV.

  • You can now update the grid layout in Create CSV using the new Template drop-drop menu, which lists all existing custom and default CSV templates.

  • The Hide Empty Columns checkbox in Create CSV has been replaced with a Remove Empty Columns button that hides any visible metadata columns containing no data. You can restore hidden column by selecting a template, clicking Reset Grid, or dragging their name from the Column Chooser, which can be opened from the column header right-click menu.

  • You can now specify any user as the owner of folders created by an import job.

  • When importing files via Folder Import, you can now choose whether imported email messages are named after their original file name or subject.

Work

  • Imports into and exports out of cloudimanage.com can now better handle server errors related to rate limiting.

  • When connected to an on-premises or imanage.work Work server, subfolders are now retrieved recursively to avoid timeout errors related to poor search performance in large workspaces.

  • In the Document Number field in Search Documents, you can now search for a range of document numbers (e.g., “1-100”) or all documents greater or less than a specific number (e.g., “>=100” or “<=100”).

  • Labels in the Search Documents window now automatically update to match the captions of the selected target library.

  • Removing a Work connection now cancels all jobs and closes all open Work Explorer windows using that connection.

General

  • When activating the application, you can now log in to CAM without a password if your tenant has been configured to use SSO.

  • Jobs listed in the completed section of the Dashboard can now be sorted by any column.

  • Verbose log entries for API calls to cloudimanage.com now include their Request ID, which can be shared with iManage when troubleshooting server errors.

  • To minimize data loss due to an application crash or forced shutdown, all jobs now save changes to job items immediately after they’ve been processed.
