The notification center Notification Center is a place to add system notifications or view active or expired system notifications on the CAM system.

 Out Out of the box, users also will get System Notifications for upcoming releases of CAM, maintenance, and subscription expiry. Click Dismiss when received.

Viewing the Notification Center

  1. Open the

account management

  1. Account Management portal of your CAM site: E.g. https://accounts.tenantname.io/

  2. Find the Bell icon on the top right called Notifications. Open it by

click

  1. clicking Open Notification Center.

  2. Click one of the filters to show results. By

Default

  1. default, the page is blank til you click a filter.

  2. Click Dismiss when you are done reading the notification.

Information Displayed

The following information is displayed on the Notification Center:

Field

Description

Title

The title of the notification.

Start Date

Date to start the notification- Note this will be hidden in the notification.

Expiry Date

The end date of the notification. Note this will be hidden in the notification.

Message Type Icon

Type of message sent by the notification. Types are:

Info,

Announcement, and

Alert

All Tenants

Displays if the notification is for all tenants, or specific tenants.

Scheduled

Date scheduled

Published

Date published

Job Description

For jobs, the job description includes the matter/client and/or workspace names.

Menu

A menu of options to filter, refresh or delete.

Title Search

This box allows the filtering by title of the notification. Type the title, click filter.

  • Click Save.

    The title of the notification

    The header of the notification

    Body

    The body content of the notification

    Footer

    The footer information of the notification.

    Tenants

    Sets whether to send the notification to all tenants, or specific tenants.

    Radio button

    Dates

    This selector selects the start date and the expiry date of the notification

    Date selector

    Display

    Displays the notification in the center immediately or on a specific date.

    Radio button

    Type

    Type of message sent by the notification. Types are: Info, Announcement, and Alert

    Dropdown selector

    Closable

    Can this notification get closed (or completed)?

    To add a notification setup an email template in CAM Admin->Email Templates

    Note: There is no edit option for the Notifications in Notification Center. You can change the schedule, or disable it.

    To Change the Schedule:

    There are two ways to change it:

    1. Go to Current Notifications in the Notification Center. Click Actions, then ReSchedule.

    Set the new desired time.

    Changing the Schedule

    1. Go to Background Jobs in the CAM Admin panel.

    2. Find the job for the notification, and click Actions, then Reschedule.

    3. Set the new desired time.
