To configure the external systems:

Step 2: Define Metadata
Map the Metadata to associate the files from your external systems to CAM. You can also add custom values for the metadata.
Navigate to Administration.

On the Add Metadata screen, enter the details

Click Save.
The metadata added here is now available for selection when configuring the external systems or the request workflow.

The Template editor provides an easy-to-use interface to create workspaces based on metadata attributes and rules.

Navigate to Administration.
Click on Template Editor.
Select a template from the Template

List.
Click the hamburger icon next to the template to access the options to edit and apply the template.
Step 4: Request Workflow Configuration
The request workflow configuration allows you to create ad hoc workspaces with standard folder structures and naming conventions.

Navigate to Administration.
Click on Request Workflow Configuration.

Click on Add New Dialog.
In the Add Request Workflow Configuration window, enter the name for the workspace

and configure the wizard

Click Save.
The request workflow is now configured and can be used to create workspaces, teams, channels, or OneDrive folders.
Note: For security reasons, you can set optional approval when adding an external user or a guest user.

Now that the request workflow is configured, you can launch the request workflow to create the workspace in the configured external system.
Click the plus sign on the top-right corner of the screen to launch the request workflow.
In the request workflow window, select the Workspace Dialog to be configured.

Based on the configuration in Step 4, the panels are displayed to enter information.

Click Next.
Click Finish to create the workspace.
An additional Approval step may be required, based

on the user access assigned when creating the workspace. The status of the approval can be tracked in the Approvals tab.
You can now track the progress of the workspace creation job from the Jobs tab.

Note: Expand Arrows next to the Template Preview categories will not show when there are no sub-items.
Step 6: Check Jobs
The Jobs tab allows you to track the status of all the jobs uploaded or workspaces modified in CAM.
Select the Jobs tab. This page displays all the jobs uploaded in CAM.
Click on the link in the Description column to view/edit the job.
Once a job is completed successfully, a link is available in the Link column to access the external system in which the workspace is created.
You can track the progress of the job in the Status column.

The results display a snapshot of the jobs that are run.

Step 7: Check Directory
The Directory tab lists all the matters created in the configured external systems for the uploaded jobs.
Click

the link in the Matters/Client column to view the matter details.
You can also edit the matter metadata, security, and the template applied.
