Silent SSO for CAM Commands
AWS now offers SSO IDP login (Passthrough) with certain limitations. Amazon Cognito introduces features such as signing, encryption, and Identity Provider-initiated SSO for SAML federation. This enhancement allows users to log in to CAM without manually selecting the SSO option on the CAM login page (silent SSO).

Note: This is currently implemented for CAM Commands only. |

Observe whether the SSO screen is presented during this process.
If authentication is required, enter the necessary credentials or confirm that the session is still active.
Verify that access to the CAM commands dialog is granted without redirecting to the SSO screen.

Custom FoldersWorking with custom folders on the manage folder command has recently changed. The Manage Folder command has been redesigned so users are able to specify certain pieces of metadata at the point of the Custom Folder creation. This feature benefits the users so they don't have to go in and retrospectively update these custom folders after the creation process. Configure your template for custom folder(s). Click the + button to add the custom-named folder to the workspace. Adding or restricting custom folder creation is possible by configuring the Metadata based filter criteria at Administration>Template Editor> Config The options for custom folders display as:
Image Added Setting a prefix or suffix can be done on the global level for the template. The example text for the field will show you how to add dynamic metadata e.g. @client@ - @matter@ If the folder security needs to be changed, activate the security toggle to enable users to change it. If a specific owner of the custom folder needs to be customized, activate the owner toggle to apply the new owner.
Open the Manage Folder command from your system (iManage for example). Right-click on a workspace or folder to open this up. Pick the template. Prefix and suffix can be edited in this display here. Under the custom folder option, now the user can edit the settings you configured in Step 2, like owner etc by clicking More Settings. The More Settings button will display only if you have enabled the Permission View-Manage-Folder-Advanced-Settings. Now configure the Owner, Security, and any metadata to attach to the custom folder.
Image Added Use CasesA workspace is linked to CAM using the Link workspace job. It shows up properly in the Directory tab and stores folder structure as expected when clicking on Manage Folder. Create a new second-level folder using the native iManage option in Work Web – please note that in this scenario, does not have CAM right-click menu enabled nor configured. When going back to the CAM directory tab, the newly created folder showed up in the Manage Folder dialog without the workspace being relinked. Then use the native iManage delete option to delete the created folder. The CAM directory synced without relinking, showing the updated structure without the folder again. The workspace structure was stored in iManage, and received by CAM.
Note: Jobs will be listed at CAM-Jobs tab only if more than 5 folders are added at iManage. |
Delete Folder | It allows to delete not required and empty folder, empty subfolders within. |
Edit name and Profile | It allows editing the Workspace name, Folder name, or Profile from the iManage system. Note: Refresh the iManage page when you perform the edit to see that updated profile and name. For each edit request from iManage, a Job will be listed in the Jobs tab. |

Reason Click Save to share item and click Cancel to close the dialog. View Existing Security - Displays security details of selected document/folder/workspace Users/Groups List and Access Levels Note: These Users/Groups will not be listed in the User/Group lookup.
