Dynamic Groups
Dynamic Groups
You can add Dynamic Groups to workspaces and add users to those groups. Dynamic group allows you to add multiple users to the workspace security avoiding the need to re-index the workspace each time a user is added. A dynamic group can be created based on CAM Roles (Admin, Editor, and Watcher). When you add members to these groups, the users are automatically assigned the respective CAM role permissions.
To Create a Dynamic Group
Dynamic Groups can be created when configuring the External Systems. When adding a new server, under Server Configuration, in the Dynamic Group field, select the radio button, Yes to create a Dynamic Group for the repository.
