Migrating Objects to the Cloud
The MaxDop setting of SQL should be set accordingly if you are processing a lot of data. The SQL setting should be set to a maximum number of processor cores on the server or less. Do not set to 0. For more information visit Microsoft here.
Syncing Data to the Cloud
Once the sync from source to staging is fully completed and all data is transferred without error, continue with the sync from staging to the cloud target database.
Open Cloud Migrator to the Cloud tab.
In the Target DMS panel, click Login.
If the service for Cloud Migrator becomes down or offline, the Target DMS panel will report Disconnected and report the server is unreachable in the log.
The iManage Work login dialog opens. Enter the information below depending on your login method:
Permissions | Description |
---|---|
Authentication | The type of authentication. Can be Session or OAuth. Session requires Client Id and Secret. |
Client Id | The client id of the application |
Client Secret | The generated secret for connecting to the iManage Work system. |
Host Name | iManage Host |
User Name | Account UN |
Password | Account password |
5. CloudiManage will have the single sign-on window open if using that method. On-Premise or Work in the Cloud will use the authentication window and details.
6. Click Log in.
7. After logging in, select the data to sync to the cloud:
