User Provisioning

Overview

User provisioning is a type of identity management in which access rights and authorization privileges are monitored. Provisioning is defined by user objects such as members, vendors, user attributes, and so on. Email, database access, and network access are examples of services that may be provided. User provisioning is identified by configuring role-based access control. Permissions, roles, groups, and users are the most common components of role-based access control. A user is assigned to a group or groups, and a group is assigned to roles (for example, read-only, editor, or administrator), and a role is made up of different permissions. User provisioning is generally managed by IT and administrators.

This section describes the CRUD operation on user provisioning

Users	Allows you to create, update, delete users in CAM
Groups	Allows you to create, add users, update, delete group in the CAM
Users & Groups	The Users & Groups tab on the Workspace Management, lists all the users and groups added in CAM (via Data Uploader, Upload Users, or the Jobs tab) and allows you to confirm to which matters a specific user or group has been granted access
Upload Users	The upload users option allows you to add new users and groups to the workspaces using a simple CSV file.
Roles	CAM user roles and the permissions to be associated with that role can be defined here.
