Release Notes CAM May 2024 (24.05.20)
Released on 25-May-24
New Features | ||
Module | Description | |
Analytics | The Analytics user interface is further redesigned to provide an even better user experience. The query configuration, joins & filters are now on the left-hand panel leaving the entire right-hand panel to display results and take actions. Check out the CAM Resource Center available from the “?” icon on the top right corner of CAM for more details about the new Analytics UI.
Analytics | The View Security action is redesigned to be a cleaner display. Add the access_security or deny_security columns to your report. Click the View Security link on that column to view all users and groups that are either allowed or denied access from that document, workspace or folder. Use the column headings in the View Security dialog to filter security results.
Analytics | Join operators for Documents and Document History on Analytics queries are now supported. This allows you to search for history by document metadata like client/matter or other document-level metadata. Support for other joins between entities such as between documents and folders and folders and workspaces will be available in upcoming releases.
Analytics | Query parameters are now supported in Analytics to allow users to reuse saved reports and simply modify the filtered value as needed. For example, you can set client and matter metadata as parameters. You can then key in the desired client/matter each time you run the report.
Data Sync | Improvements to offline change events processing for both iManage and NetDocuments during incremental syncs, along with other backend performance improvements for data sync.
Data Sync | Incremental sync job KPIs are now available that display job-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like processing rates, running progress, or errored events. Click the View Details-> KPI tab button from Data Sync>Sync Job Status>Incremental Sync tab to see Incremental Sync KPIs.
Provisioning | The iManage OSType groupnos is now supported for provisioning groups into iManage. This allows you to designate if the group is an ADS group, virtual group or external group. The iManage rules for assigning users to these groups still applies, e.g., you can only add external users to external groups. See the documentation link above for the syntax and available values for OSType.
Provisioning | A new ADMapping attribute called OpType is now supported in the DataUploader AD Sync mapping. The attribute allows you to select whether you would like to have an “AND” or an “OR” operator when synchronizing users from various OUs and groups.
