November 2025 Releases

🚀 Key Improvements

Archive Workspace command in Service Desk: CAM Admins can now archive Workspaces and view archived Workspaces from within Service Desk’s Workspace tab, ensuring efficient workspace management and organization. CAM will give a warning when a User attempts to archive a Workspace when archiving is disabled in Admin settings.
Active Directory mapping rule ordering: You can now set an order to Active Directory mapping rules in Data Uploader, giving you more control over the sequence in which rules are applied. This makes it easier to manage complex mappings and ensures that rules are processed in the desired order, leading to more accurate and predictable data uploads.
Data Sync: Improved the incremental data sync process by optimizing parent folder fetching and search queries.
Service Desk: When submitting security update jobs, CAM now lists all job parameters, including which Workspace was changed, in the Job Details page.

🛠️ Major Fixes

Service Desk: Resolved an issue that prevented updating workspace template security from the Workspace tab.
Data Uploader: Resolved an issue that caused an iManage 404 error when adding or removing users from groups.
Jobs: Resolved an issue that showed the "Created By" field as "undefined undefined" in the Job Details page when SSO was enabled.
Jobs Tab: Resolved an issue that showed duplicate entries in the Job Type list.

Flexible Workspace Merging:
Merge workspaces using Client ID and Matter ID, not just Workspace ID. This added flexibility simplifies workspace management and boosts operational efficiency.

September 2025 Releases

We’re excited to announce the September 2025 release of CAM (25.09.100)! This update brings a host of new features, improvements, and important fixes designed to enhance your experience, streamline workflows, and improve accessibility.

🚀 New Features

Service Desk – Where Used Action:
A new “Where Used” action is now available on the Documents tab, allowing users to view the iManage filing location directly within CAM—a feature previously only available in Milan.
Service Desk – Update Security Command:
When updating security for a workspace, the required database field is now auto-populated if a single workspace is selected, streamlining the process.

🌟 Improvements

Accessibility:
Multiple enhancements for screen reader users and keyboard navigation, including:
- Proper announcement of column headers in data tables.
- Visible focus indicators for controls and pop-ups.
- Improved compliance with HTML5 standards for actionable elements.
- Better focus management after navigation actions.
Data Table Usability:
Sort controls now clearly indicate their state to screen readers, improving accessibility.

🛠️ Fixed Issues

Analytics Filtering:
The “Starts With” filter now works as intended, only displaying results that begin with the entered characters.
Controls Center:
Improved performance when handling a high number of controls, preventing empty screens and “No Controls Found” errors.
Data Uploader:
Corrected bucket name formatting for Canada and Australia regions.
Jobs Tab:
The “Clear Filter” function now works reliably after page refreshes.
Manage Folder:
Fixed issues with Save and Cancel buttons in Advanced Options, ensuring folder creation works for all users and the correct owner is displayed.
Move Functionality:
Default values and required fields for metadata now appear and are enforced as expected.
Notifications:
Fixed issues with the “Email Addressed to” user list in job notifications, making it easier to select and clear users.
Provisioning:
The “Created By” field now correctly reflects the user after deleting an empty folder.
Request Workflow:
The Remove Access wizard now filters the correct group list when unique value identification is enabled.
Service Desk – Folder Profile Update:
Folder metadata now loads and updates correctly, and blank fields no longer overwrite existing data.
Template Editor:
Fixed assignment of metadata and security for NetDocuments templates.

August 2025 Releases

🚀 New Features

Microsoft365 External System Connection Wizard – Show Scopes Tool
A new validation tool lets admins easily view all Microsoft Graph and Entra permissions required for CAM. It clearly displays which permissions are granted, which are still needed, and any unnecessary permissions that have been granted, making setup and troubleshooting more transparent.
Jobs Notifications by Job Type
The Jobs Notifications wizard now allows users to create notifications filtered by job type—not just for Move jobs, but for all job types. This enhancement gives you more control and flexibility over how and when you receive job notifications.
Manage Folder Command – Default Folder Ownership
Admins can now set the default logged-in user as the owner of folders directly from the Manage Folder Command dialog. This streamlines folder management and ensures ownership is always clear and up to date.
Move Command Enhancements
The Move command now supports moving both documents and folders, including those with multiple document versions or with disabled users assigned. Previously, this was only possible at the workspace level.
Service Desk – Document History Duration
The Document History window now includes a Duration column, providing insight into how long a document was worked on.

🌟 Improvements

Accessibility
- Headers in Content Mover, Metadata, Source Systems, and Retention Controls are now announced by screen readers.
- Main menu items now provide contextual information for screen readers.
- Focus is returned to users after clicking the plus (+) icon in wizards, improving navigation for keyboard and assistive technology users.
Data Uploader
- The Move Workspaces Validation Report CSV export now includes more columns and detailed information, making validation exports more useful.
Date Columns
- Created and Edited date columns now display the time, providing more precise tracking.
Data Sync
- Incremental sync jobs that time out are now automatically marked as completed, preventing jobs from getting stuck and ensuring smoother sync processes.
External Systems
- After saving an external system configuration, users are now prompted to wait a few minutes before checking the connection status, reducing confusion and unnecessary troubleshooting.
Source System Integration
- Daily limits and job processing have been optimized to reduce bottlenecks and eliminate unnecessary latency and race conditions.

🛠️ Fixed Issues

Approvals: Fixed a bug where updating a non-lookup metadata field in Approvals would cause the field to lose focus after each character.
Account Management: The user menu icon now displays correctly.
Access: Users are now directed to the correct dashboard or Directory tab based on their permissions.
CAM Commands: Deleting folders with multiple proxies now works as expected.
Content Mover: Sync frequency can now be reduced for jobs moving content between iManage and Teams.
Data Uploader: Fixed initialization errors related to “Invalid Column Name: Office365GroupType, skipupdateifexists.”
Jobs Tab: The Retry option remains visible after refreshing filters, and hourly notifications for failed jobs now work without errors. OneDrive jobs now correctly report failures, and queued jobs display accurate completion dates.

July 2025 Release

Entra Id Integration

CAM now has an updated Office365 External System Connection wizard to handle entering connections easier with fewer complications including EntraId.
This wizard will display on any new or existing Office365 connection, and help icons are added to clearly instruct the user to each field.

Data Uploader Move Workspace Script Validations

Data Uploader’s Move Workspaces script validation process is now integrated in the Data Uploader Scripts tab so that users can click on the Validation option in the menu, and view the details, and resolve any validation errors with checked out documents, missing operators or any numbering issues that would cause a failure.

Template Editor Replace Template Improvements

The Replace Template command has been enhanced to better handle delete empty folders to delete all empty folders in the workspaces, retain all existing folder ids, add any new folders required that is on the new template, and link this new template with the workspace.

Service Desk Workspace Layout Inclusions

On the Workspaces tab, we've added the ability to select a Document grid layout form, so that any documents that display have the document-related columns the user needs to use.

Accessiblity Improvements

External System status icons now allow users to hover over and understand the status of the system. For example, if a system is disabled, you can now understand it was due to continuous authentication failures.
Dates within CAM now are consistently updated to the following format, for example: Apr 11, 2024
Asterisks are now placed by all required fields in CAM, to explain to screen reader users that these are required fields.
Horizontal scrolls are removed in some places so users don’t have to scroll right to see all columns.
