Configuring SPM Custom Agent

Overview

SPM provides out-of-the-box implementation to iManage work and some other systems, it does not have out-of-the-box adapters for all legal applications. CAM manages many systems but SPM does not have direct integration. CAM will become an agent of such systems by reading the policy information from SPM and then applying or enforcing them in systems managed by CAM. Using CAM can prevent security changes to content managed via SPM policies.

Configuring SPM Custom Agent

1. To download the custom agent SPM setup, click here.

2. Extract the downloaded package.

3. Navigate to the IManage SQl Agent.Config file.

4. Create a database for SPMSecurityAgent.

5. In the package, navigate aclapplier_setup.sql file, and run against the created database.

6. Configure the SPM and JDBC connection string in Data Uploader.

7. Run iManage Custom Agent Setup.cmd and install SQL agent service.

8. Once the database is installed, check for SPMSecurityAgent database.

9. Create connection string in Data Uploader for SPMSecurityAgent.

10. Run SyncSPMPolicy sql.
